Harpur Memorial Hospital Menouf is a hospital in the Nile Delta region of Egypt. Founded over 100 years ago, it is a full service hospital with general inpatient beds and medical and surgical intensive care units. It also offers outpatient clinics in the following specialty areas; internal medicine, hepatology, gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, ophthalmology, dentistry ENT, orthopedics, physiotherapy, surgery, neurosurgery, psychiatry, neurology, cardiology and echocardiography. The hospital is known for its excellent medical services, its compassionate service to rich and poor alike, and its love for Jesus Christ.
In January 2014, the PAACS (Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons) organization expanded to start a new program based out of this hospital. PAACS is a strategic response to the need for surgeons in Africa. They are a non-denominational, multinational service organization training African physicians to become surgeons who are willing to remain in Africa to meet this need. PAACS also disciples these residents to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ with their patients. The surgical and spiritual training of these residents is offered at several well-established evangelical mission hospitals in Africa, under the direction of experienced, board certified missionary surgeons.
A nursing school was started at Harpur Memorial Hospital in July 2017 in response to a severe shortage of trained nurses. Nurses in this area are not respected and those hired as nurses are hired with no training. The two year program produces nurses trained not only with a high standard of care, but a sense of purpose in the Kingdom. This booth will focus on recruiting for the nursing school.

The problem is, it doesn’t seem clear, and everyone you meet has a different perspective on “calling”, which makes you feel confused and stuck. What you need are tools to help you discern God’s call.
