Mbingo Baptist Hospital is a 300 bed referral teaching hospital sponsored by the Health Board of the Cameroon Baptist Convention. The hospital is sixty years old and was founded as a leprosy settlement. Currently the hospital is one of the most developed hospitals in Cameroon offering specialty services in a growing number of areas. We also offer residency training programs for African physicians in surgery (in conjunction with the PAACS program) and in internal medicine. We offer short and long term volunteer opportunities for physicians in most specialties to assist in patient care and teach in the residencies.
