The Psychiatry Section of CMDA provides Christian psychiatrists Biblical perspective, training, church focus, outreach and mentorship.
Member Organization
Our membership is open to the professional mental health community and includes private practitioners, academicians, researchers, mission field psychiatrists, medical students, and physicians in residency training from every region of the United States and many other countries as well. The Psychiatry Section gathers annually at the American Psychiatric Association (APA), GMHC, and other professional meetings for the purposes of introducing attendees to the Psychiatry Section, educate them on who we are, our mission, and how we can support them in their quest to integrate their faith into their practice of psychiatry.
