Frontier Direct Care exists to serve people through the healing art of medicine and to mentor young physicians to do the same as we follow Jesus Christ s example. We recognize that one of the main features of the dysfunctional American health care system is that the the people who need medical care the most are frequently entirely unable to afford it. We believe that we are called to extend a helping hand to our neighbors. To that end, we have partnered with Culture of Life Ministries and Trinity on the Border to provide free medical care every week for those who cannot otherwise afford to see a physician.

Manaal Relief Foundation is an independent women and youth-led Non-profit Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid, assistance, protection, education, healthcare and community empowerment to Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Displaced people and underprivileged local Somali communities to achieve peace, security, equality, social justice and socio-economic development. The overall aim of the Organization is to promote effective and sustainable community transformation and development, peace, social justice, equality and security in the horn of Africa as is guided by its core values, principles and organizational philosophy. MRF was founded in 2008 by a group of Somali women and youth among refugees and internally displaced intellectuals with protection and humanitarian professional backgrounds, having worked as humanitarian aid workers with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO), Community Based Organization (CBOs), International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) and United Nations Development Partners with similar vision and passion. The organization is registered under legal act of NGO registration, license and agreement documents with Ministry of Interior of the Federal Republic of Somalia as well as Federal Member States Ministries of Planning and Local Government of Puntland, Jubbaland, South West State KGS and Hirshebele. MRF headquarter office is based in Garowe, Capital city of Puntland State of Somalia and has operational field offices in Puntland State Bossaso, Galkacyo, Qardho, Dangorayo, Burtinle, Baran, Eyl and Lasacanod. It also has Regional/State branch offices in Galmudug State, Hirshebele, South West State KGS , Jubaland State and Benadir region. The Somali civil war and severe drought effect reached its peak and left tens of thousands in extreme poverty. Prevalent violence, anarchy and lawlessness continue to inflict suffering and impoverishment upon Somali people particularly the vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, girls, women, the very poor, people with disabilities and the displaced. The organization is actively involved in humanitarian aid and intervention, Protection, Human rights advocacy, Women and youth empowerment, Security and Peace building, Early warning and Conflict Prevention, Refugees, IDPs, Displaced Communities, Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), HealthCare, WASH, Peace Education, Shelter, Food Security and Sustainable development. It also works closely with other sub-sectors such as Counter Violent Extremism, Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), Migration and Integration, Peace Education, Social Justice and Reconciliation, and other initiatives in livelihood and economy sectors.

Gadsden Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency (GRMC FMR) is a newly-formed Family Medicine residency program situated in Northeast Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Gadsden is a city of 102,000 residents located on the banks of the beautiful Coosa River. GRMC hospital is a 348-bed multispecialty facility with 4 ICUs, Labor & Delivery, newborn nursery and pediatric care, multiple surgical specialties (general, orthopedic, gynecologic, cardiovascular, neurological, and urologic), general medicine, and a thriving emergency department (over 40,000 visits/year). The FM Residency , a 6-6-6 initial program, will begin with its first class of residents in 2022. Our core faculty members are a diverse group of committed Christ-followers with unique backgrounds and experience (from recent fellowship graduates to 30 years of residency educational training). The GRMC FM Residency Program is looking for future residents of courage, character, and compassion with a pioneering spirit who desire to participate in creating a strong foundation of excellence in education and patient care. Good Gaali s mission is to bring love for humanity, the environment, and the good news of the gospel through the power of the bicycle. Gaali is the Luganda word for bike, so our name quite literally means, the Good Bike. We started in 2019 as a group of cyclists that wanted to use the bicycle in some way - we weren t sure how - to serve in Jesus name. That way, or purpose, was found in short order after visiting one of our colleagues in a Ugandan hospital. The last World Health Organization (WHO) rankings showed Uganda s healthcare system ranked 149th out of 190 in the world. Chronic under staffing and under funding have left the entire health sector in a shambles. As a result, untrained and unprepared family members must become the nurse for their loved ones. These Informal Caregivers as they are known, feed, bathe, administer medications, and change dressings for their patients. They remain, for the most part, camped out on the hospital grounds for the duration of their patient s stay, trying to find shelter from the sun, rain and/or cold. Most make the trek from their villages with just a few articles of clothing and some pots and pans with which they cook meals to feed themselves and their loved ones. It is an extremely difficult and frightening time for these every day heroes. Good Gaali is responding to this situation by using the power of the bicycle to bring the Good News to these forgotten individuals. Each morning our bicycles load up with supplies and ride to the local hospital where we go to work caring for the Caregivers. In consultation with the hospital staff and Ministry of Health, we have developed a training program designed to teach the Informal Caregivers the basics about their newfound responsibilities and to improve patient outcomes. We communicate simple things such as what to expect during rounds and how to use the flush toilets. We also share critical information on subjects such as germs, germ transfer prevention, and specific diseases such as COVID-19 and Ebola. After the training, we give them a CarePack containing basic necessities needed to make their stay a bit easier. Last, and most importantly, we use our remaining time to pray with the Caregivers and to share the good news of Jesus Christ with all.
