A world in which every human life is valued, and health and human dignity are shared by all.

Our faith-based community health center is located in Clarkston, GA. Dubbed the Ellis Island of the South and most diverse square mile in America, Clarkston has received national attention due to its uniquely high concentration of refugees and immigrants with over 62 languages represented. Additionally, over 35% of the population are African American and native to Georgia. We have been open since October 2018 and have enjoyed being a part of this vibrant community, but with the beauty of Clarkston s diversity comes the realities of vulnerable populations and health care injustice. The majority of our community is low income (over 50%) and without steady, affordable medical care and good insurance coverage. Only about 7.5% of the low income population in our area are able to access healthcare at one of the safety net health centers. Not only that, but there are also great spiritual needs in a community familiar with oppression and stress. The fields of Clarkston are ready for harvest and there are great opportunities for the gospel to be shared among people with little to no witness. We have named our clinic Ethnē Health, from the Greek word found in Revelation 5:9--meaning people united by kinship, group or nations. We hope to bridge the medical gaps by delivering comprehensive, high value healthcare through a culturally sensitive, neighbor-centered medical home that advances Jesus love and justice. In doing so, we envision a movement of people from every ethnē, healed and compelled by the gospel of Jesus!

Cancer Companions is a cancer ministry which trains, equips and supports volunteers in churches to draw people coping with cancer closer to Christ. The volunteers are trained to lead three programs: Cancer Prayer Partners, 30 Days of Cancer Prayer and various Bible Studies designed for anyone impacted by cancer. We serve anyone in cancer treatment, post cancer treatment and their loved ones. Cancer Companions believes Jesus is the master at pushing back the chaos of cancer for everyone. As trained facilitators we strive to provide prayer, scripture and companionship as we lift up people on their cancer journey. Cancer Companions began in 2011 by Christian counselor and author Karen Tripp MS LMFT in St Louis, MO. This came after years of Karen leading Christian cancer support groups around St Louis and thinking someone should teach people how to do what she was doing. Then one blustery November day Karen heard the Lord say I wanted you to start a ministry not write a book. From that moment, Cancer Companions was born. Since then Cancer Companions has developed volunteer training programs, Bible study and devotional video and books as well as the premiere online Christian cancer presence. These scriptural foundation of these Christian cancer materials, the intimate connections of the Cancer Prayer Partner Program as well as the National-wide impact of 30 Days of Cancer Prayer has seen this ministry spread from heart to heart and coast to coast. Chances for Children is a nonprofit in Haiti whose mission is provide hope to children one child, one family, one community at a time. We believe the answer to Haiti s orphan epidemic can be solved by strengthening communities and families. The vision of C4C is to work through local pastors to move their communities from survival towards stability and then ultimately onward to sustainability . Addressing the basic needs of clean water, hunger, medical care and spiritual encouragement are the components for survival. The community then moves into stability when families are given the tools of employment to begin providing for the basic needs of their families. In some of the regions we work in, the movement from survival to stability has been accomplished in two years. Our ultimate goal is to see these communities into the final stage of sustainability. In this stage, the members of the community would create sustainable livelihoods for themselves so that they can provide for the needs of their families and furthermore teach those skills to their children. Through orphan care, education, woman empowerment, feeding programs, medical care, agricultural and micro loan programs, C4C empowers communities to move from survival to sustainability. We do this primarily through providing Eye Care Services, including eyeglasses and other Medical and Social services and supplies to the underserved - those without access or without the means to afford eye care services. We take our mobile clinics to areas where eye care services are not readily available or accessible. We partner with like-minded host organizations to support and enhance their ongoing work by providing eye care clinics to their constituents and target audiences.
