Luke s FastBreaks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that makes colorful medical shirts for children in the hospital long-term (oncology, hematology, children with GI problems & feeding tubes, auto-immune diseases, transplant, PICU, etc). The Luke s FastBreaks medical shirts meet hospital standards, allowing them to replace the traditional hospital gown in an effort to help with the mental fight these children face. The medical shirts enable pediatric patients to feel comfortable during their stay and boost their self-esteem by allowing for self-expression with various color options and designs. The medical shirts also restore their privacy something that s often lacking in the traditional hospital gown. Most importantly, we believe these medical shirts give children back their dignity. The medical shirts meet hospital standards and are recognized by the Association of Child Life Professionals one of our partners. Physicians and hospital staff credit the Luke s FastBreaks medical shirts for giving the children a sense of normalcy during their hospital stay. This video shares more information about our nonprofit and history. The idea for the Luke s FastBreaks medical shirts was started by 9-year old Luke Lange during his fight with cancer. During his hospital stay, Luke was forced to trade in his gym shorts and t-shirts for a new uniform the hospital gown. Most pediatric patients will tell you the hospital gown leaves little room for privacy and strips them of their identity making the psychological challenges for a child fighting a serious illness like cancer even more severe. Luke said the hospital gown made him feel more sick he just wanted to feel like a normal 3 rd grader. That s when Luke and his parents had an idea. They cut up the sides of his t-shirts and sewed in snap tape allowing easy access to ports, IVs and lines while also giving Luke the ability to be in an outfit that looked and felt normal ( https://youtu.be/9gIqW99Rba0 ). Luke wore his new shirts to treatment at Cook Children s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas that day other children within the hospital started asking where they could get one. Soon after the nonprofit, Luke s FastBreaks, was founded. We utilize 5 core strategies of: evangelism/church planting, pastoral development, community development/health, children s ministry, and youth ministry. We are currently revitalizing the medical mission efforts of AGWM in the islands of the Pacific to do ministry the way Jesus did: to minister to the whole person and allow it to open the doors to a relationship with Him.

In conjunction with our modular Socket-less Socket technology, the Socket-Soft fitting software converts simple limb measurements to defined socket assembly configurations through our sophisticated algorithm-based software. Our desire is to partner with missionaries, doctors, and organizations going to the nations who can help impact this hard to reach people group.

Working to advance health care in economically deprived countries, Chosenima has shipped millions of dollars-worth of new and re-manufactured medical equipment to medical mission facilities. Additionally, volunteers and staff have traveled the world installing and repairing equipment, developing and teaching training programs in equipment operation and maintenance procedures and providing instruction in operation room procedures, infection control and sterilization in hospital environments. We also coordinate short-term medical/general mission trips primarily to Mexico with hopes of expanding to other countries along with the development of domestic short-term mission trip to install temporary ramps for those needing a way to get in and out of their homes.

Haiti First Responders located in Titanyen/Cabaret Haiti along RT National 1 is a Haitian Community project. OCSENOE, Is the groups name and consists of the Pastor of the Titanyen Baptist Church and 12 or more community leaders. They have a school, a new church, and the old church will be used in the efforts of vocational training for the instruction of Disaster Training/EMS/Fire/Rescue and mass feeding after a major Disaster. Strong Christian business ethics teaching along with teaching the Haitian people how to help and serve each other. After this program is complete our goal is to include a Christ Centered Microenterprise community project in teaching the art of owning their own businesses and providing for their own needs.

Missions for Life started in the United States in 2011 as an evangelical short term mission s ministry that visited San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. In 2013 development started to add a more comprehensive humanitarian and medical aide outreach into the 514 surrounding communities. Relationships strengthened in August 2016 with city officials, hospitals, the state health department, and Non-Governmental Organizations. By starting in the state of Guanajuato Mexico, we connect the solutions of local government and Non-governmental Organizations to the resources of fresh drinking water and basic healthcare for the impoverished Mexican children and families. Our humanitarian efforts are in alignment with the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Report that was updated in July of 2015. Administrator - Matthew Morrison, BSN, RN, CPEN has been visiting the state of Guanajuato and the city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico since 2012. With a servant s heart and currently working as a pediatric emergency nurse and supervisor at Nemours A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE, Matt brings medical and church teams down on short-term missions trips to aide in community health and spiritual support for families. Outreaches consist of community medical screenings and rain water harvesting with filtration. A new research opportunity is being developed to improve nutrition levels of the children in a rural Chichimeca Indian community.
